What's brilliant Move?

Brilliant Move is a 5-week summer hackathon for students aged 14–18. Teams of up to 4 build real projects across 4 tracks, document their journey through a very short film, and compete in a festival-style closing ceremony all while learning from expert workshops every week.

Timeline

June 10 - June 26

Registration

Applications open to students aged 14–18 from across the Arab world. Form your team of up to 4, or register solo and we'll help you find one.

Registraion phase

June 29 - August 3

The 5 week Hackathon

The Brilliant Move Hackathon. Build, learn, improve and document every step of your journey with 2 expert workshops every week.

Week 1Ideation. Define your problem, validate your idea, shape your vision.

Weeks 2–4Building. Deep work on your project.

Week 5Filmmaking & Final week. Make sure everything is ready , finalize your film & project.

A festival-style event where finalist teams present their projects and screen their films. Winners are recognized across all four tracks.

FAQ

Any student aged 14 to 18 from anywhere in the Arab Worldis welcome. If you are a beginner or still don't have skills , Don't worry it is your place!

Yes. you can register solo and we'll help you connect with other participants during onboarding to form a team. Teams can be 1 to 4 members but we encourage at least 2 for accountability and collaboration.
Completely FREE. The only thing we ask for is your commitment to your brilliant move
Every week throughout the hackathon there are workshops led by real founders, creators, and experts. They're built around helping you make progress on your project, not generic lectures.
Winners are judged on both their projects and short films. Full judging criteria will be announced closer to the event but know that the journey and story matter just as much as the final result.
